I haven’t had much time for creative writing recently – the launch of ‘What I’m Writing‘ (my new linky) on Tuesday has been pretty much my sole writing focus!
So for #Prose4T today I thought I would share a piece of silliness that I wrote over the summer. I spent pretty much all my time entertaining three kids. It may or may not have been inspired by them:

What’s that you say?
A giant, gooey

For me if I
Go out and play?
Well, I guess
That sounds okay
… since…
I was going anyway!
Of course I would never bribe any of my children. Nope. Not me.
(Well, not with a fudge sundae anyway – far too messy.)
Awesome as always lovely lady! Bribery rules supreme in my house

Thanks! It’s a useful parenting tool isn’t it?
Ha! This made me smile…. I so know that sat-on-the-sofa-I-don’t-want-to-budge feeling! X
So do I! Thanks for commenting Sadie. x

Potato is 2 1/4 and I’m beginning to have to try and resist the temptation to bribe him. I don’t always succeed
Sometimes bribery is the only way but shhhhh don’t tell anyone I said that!
This scenario sounds strangely familiar!…
One familiar to all mothers I think!
Haha. Id di read this when you first posted it and laughed then too. DO IT FOR THE SUNDAE! (If that’s all it takes to persude you…) x
I quite fancy a sundae now if someone would only make one for me!
Hahaha! This is brilliant – and SO very true of my daughter (not that I bribe her either
). Thank you for linking to Prose for Thought
x
Thanks Victoria! of course you would never bribe your daughter. None of us would EVER bribe our kids. tee hee.
